Gordon Kennedy, an actor of Scottish origin was bought up in Tranent, East Lothian. He graduated from the George Watson College in Edinburgh. He started his career as a PE teacher. He is married to Susan and they have two sons named Patrick and James.
Gordon has appeared in various television shows such as Absolutely, Red Cap, River City, The Deal, Glasgow Kiss, With or Without You and Robin Hood etc. He was also the co- host of the original series National Lottery. Presently he can be seen on The Bill playing the character of Jim Lawson.
Role In Robin Hood
In Robin Hood, he plays the character of Little John, an outlaw, who is initially seen as an opponent of Robin Hood. However, the two join hands after, Robin saves his wife from the Sheriff’s men. Little John is assumed to be dead by his wife Alice and son Little Little John. He is somewhat grumpy and argumentative, but is always loyal to Robin and his fellow men.
