Anjali Jay was is a British Actress with Indian origins. She did her schooling at Sophia’s high School After completing her graduation at Mount Caramel College, she moved on to do a Masters Degree in Dance Theatre. She lives with her husband in Hampshire.
She started out as a theatre artist with roles in shows such as, Romeo and Juliet, The Jungle Book, Anne and the Green Gables, Midnights Children and The Tales of the Arabian Nights etc. On television she appeared in shows such as Doctors, Grease Monkeys and Gods and Goddesses: Jason and the Argonauts, before being cast in the series Robin Hood. She has also appeared in the film Blind Date.
Role In Robin Hood
In Robin Hood, she plays the character of Djaq. She has donned the name of her dead brother. She acts as the doctor for the group as she has good knowledge of medicine. She is also an expert with explosive material with sound knowledge of chemistry. Towards the end of season 2, she tells Will that she loves him.
